Is theatre your jam? Join us for a one-day event that brings high school students together to explore all aspects of theatre through engaging workshops in dance, vocals, improv, design, and more. Students will collaborate, build new skills, and connect with peers who share their passion for the performing arts. It’s a fun, high-energy day designed to inspire creativity both onstage and behind the scenes.

Event Schedule:

8:45 to 9:15 AM - Arrival and Tabling

9:15 to 9:45 AM - Opening Circle facilitated by 2nd Generation Theatre

9:50 to 10:40 AM - Session 1

10:45 to 11:35 AM - Session 2

11:35 AM to 12:30 PM - Lunch & Tabling (bring your own lunch)

12:30 to 1:30 PM - Session 3

1:30 to 1:45 - Closing Circle, Prizes, and Dismissal

Session Details:

Students will pre-register for sessions for the day. Session registration will open in mid-October. Sessions being offered include: Dance, Improv, Costume Design, Theatre Administration, Stage Combat, Audition Techniques, Prop Design, Making it on Broadway, and more!

Tabling:

We will have a variety of community partners and schools on site with information and swag to share! Stop by during any free time to learn more from each organization.
