Erie 1 BOCES, in partnership with Artpark, welcomes high school ceramic students from school districts across the region for the annual Clay Throw Down event.

High school students will work in teams to complete a series of fast paced ceramic challenge!

Event Details

Date: May 21, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Location: Artpark - Main Stage Outdoor Lobby (450 South 4th Street, Lewiston, NY 14092)

Cost: $250.00 per team (teams include 1 teacher and up to 10 students)

Intended Audience: High School Ceramics Students

Lunch: Lunch will be available for purchase at Artpark or you may bring a bagged lunch

Billing

AIE Special Events Billing Code: 447.009.03 Costs: $250/per registered teacher and up to 10 students.


Please be aware that any Buffalo Public School employee MUST provide a Purchase Order prior to attending this event. This should be emailed to dschweigert@e1b.org.

 

If paying by check, checks can be made out to Erie 1 BOCES and sent to Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus - Attn: Debbie Schweigert, 355 Harlem Road, West Seneca, NY 14224.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for this event are required by 04/21/2026 by 9am. Failure to do so will result in your district being charged for the event. All cancellations must be in writing by email to dslynch@e1b.org. Phone calls are not accepted.

 

NOTE: Participating districts from other BOCES must obtain a cross contract if processing through Arts in Education.
