About

What is Arts in Education?

The Arts in Education cooperative service (CoSer) provides a highly effective way for schools to provide arts and educational programs within their districts by bringing artists in or by going out to cultural venues. Arts in Education helps schools enrich students’ lives by providing opportunities to experience the arts both during the school day and after. This service is designed to provide resources for schools to integrate the arts through all NYS Learning Standards. This service provides a cost-effective way for school districts to bring arts programs to their students.

Arts in Education also covers teacher professional development relating to the arts.

What is Exploratory Enrichment?

The Exploratory Enrichment cooperative service (CoSer) functions similarly to Arts In Education, but the programming will not have an arts focus. Instead, the enrichment programming will be curriculum based.

Exploratory Enrichment does not support teacher professional development or after school activities.
